Achieve's Director - Gill Jolly
Gill, a psychology graduate, has been involved in professional fundraising since 1984 as a fundraiser, manager, director and trainer of fundraisers and support teams. She left a senior role with one of the top 10 income generation charities early in 2000 to set up and become co-Director of a successful fundraising consultancy company. She now has her own consultancy Achieve Consultants Ltd and works with charities across the UK and beyond.
Since its inception until 2016, Gill was a licensed Assessor for the Certificate in Fundraising Management (CiFM) which enabled many people to gain this important professional qualification. Gill is an approved trainer and assessor for the new Certificate and Diploma in Fundraising and has Diploma level membership of the Institute of Fundraising herself. In recognition of her contribution to fundraising Gill was honoured to be named a Fellow of the IoF in 2012
As a freelance trainer Gill works with many organisations including the DSC, Institute of Fundraising, the OU Business School, National Association of Hospice Fundraisers, Macmillan Cancer Support and South Bank University to name just a few...
Gill has had a number of articles published in the sector media as well as contributing and being on the editing panel of a range of books and publications. She is also a regular speaker at national and regional conferences on a range of fundraising and related topics.
Leaving her native Lancashire in the late 1990s, Gill now lives with her husband Keith, Head of IT at a Hospice, in a C15th farm house in Suffolk with her two chocolate labradors, a number of bantam hens and several families of ducks!!
