We’ve worked in the field, delivered training and provided creative leadership to a wide range of organisations. Since Achieve Consultants was established we have had the pleasure of working with many charities and not-for-profit organisations across the spectrum including care charities, hospices, housing/homelessness, animal welfare, humanitarian, international development, environmental, conservation, heritage, culture & arts as well as the universities/education sector.

We bring an outstanding balance of passion, enthusiasm and no-nonsense expertise.

As management consultants specialising in charity fundraising, we follow best practise in fundraising, management and consultancy and work at a strategic, operational and implementation levels.

With each challenge we work in partnership with our clients’ boards, staff and volunteers to help plan and manage all aspects of fundraising and income generation programmes. We take a fresh approach to each challenge and provide bespoke advice, guidance and support to deliver ambitious sustainable fundraising goals and achieve success unique to each client.

Clients come to us needing help in a range of ways such as hands-on fundraising support, expert advice, help with your fundraising strategy, development of fundraising teams or individuals or an interim fundraising professional. Draw on our in-depth experience as a long-standing, well-respected fundraising, management and training consultancy as well as providers of interim support.

The company was established by Gill Jolly.

Gill is a charity professional with an extensive and proven track record in fundraising, training and charity management.

Gill, Achieve’s Director and lead consultant, is well known across the sector having worked for over 30 years with many different charities as well as a trainer and speaker at regional, national and international conferences.

She writes widely and has contributed to a number of books as well as being heavily involved with the Chartered Institute of Fundraising having helped develop the qualifications as well as being an CIOF Academy training course developer and trainer. In addition, she also plays an active role in a number of Regional and Special Interest Groups (SIGS), is Chair of CIOF East Anglia and is part of various national committees and working groups.

Gill also trains with the Director of Social Change (DSC) and NPO-Academy International (based in Germany and covering Europe). She herself has the Diploma in Fundraising and was awarded a Fellowship by the Institute of Fundraising several years ago in recognition of her contribution to fundraising.

About Gill Jolly​

Gill Jolly, a psychology graduate, has been involved in professional fundraising all her career having joined one of the top national charities as a trainee. Having been successful in all aspects of fundraising, she was delighted to finally run the whole of the charity’s fundraising with a large national team and was extremely effective increasing its rankings in terms of annual income generation.

Gill is passionate about fundraising and enabling both charities and individuals achieve their fundraising potential. She brings her wider ranging expertise, skills and knowledge to create new thinking and creative approaches to charities and not for profit organisations. Building on an organisation’s strengths, with a solutions focus approach, Gill provides insight and innovation to their strategic thinking and leadership. She brings inspiration, energy, passion, commitment and understanding of what it takes to be the best you can be.

With a C15th farmhouse being her primary residence in Suffolk giving easy access to London and other locations, Gill also has a base also in Lancashire meaning she is well placed to cover the UK, Europe and beyond. She is married to Keith, an ICT & Management Information professional, has two chocolate Labradors, a number of bantam hens and several families of ducks!
